The Valrhona Passion Fruit Inspiration fruit couverture is a subtle blend of cocoa butter, sugar and passion fruit. Sweet, gourmet and with a touch of tang, Passion fruit brings to mind the sun and tropical countries that it comes from. Its unique and subtle taste adds a dash of sunshine to summer desserts. Passion fruit is a completely unique flavour which can be difficult to work with, but Valrhona wanted to make it accessible to all thanks to their Passion Fruit Inspiration couverture.

Inspiration is made from processed fresh fruit of the very finest quality, whose intense colour and flavour combine wonderfully with the unique texture of cocoa butter. Inspiration contains no artificial colour or flavour.

The tropical, tangy notes of Passion Fruit Inspiration hint at the freshness of a passion fruit sorbet under the summer sun.

Summer Shipping: 

At above 26°C, cocoa butter in chocolate products may start melting, and recrystallize as white streaks or marks on the chocolate's surface.  This phenomenon is called 'fat bloom'.  While it may not have the perfect appearance, bloomed chocolates are safe to eat and use in recipes.

During summer months when the temperature is relatively warm, we advise adding cold packaging to your shipment in order to minimize the risk of melting.  While we are careful and diligent in maintaining the temperature of your package, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the products in the cold packaging will not be affected by unusually warm weather and irregular transit time.

If you love passion fruit and chocolate, this is definitely for you! I have to control myself not to eat it instead of using it for baking. It’s just the right amount of sweetness for my needs. For comparison, it’s not as sweet as regular chocolate. It well balanced flavourful chocolate!
