Liquid & Gel Paste
Liquid colouring is watery and not very concentrated. It is a good choice if you wish to achieve pastel colours, but if you are after a stronger or darker colour you would need to add gel paste, which is more concentrated but may thin out your mixture.
Liquid colouring is best used with other liquid medium such as syrup, water, chocolate etc. whereas gel paste colours are ideal for larger batches when adding too much liquid is an issue.
