Powdered Tea

Shogyokuen Matcha

Hiroshi Kobayashi, the top man at Shogyokuen, is one of the dozen master tea blenders in Japan who hold the highest rank of tea appraisal at level 10 "茶師十段". From year to year, he consistently produces blends that resonate to various matcha needs.

There are 13 grades of matcha in their public line up. We picked 4 for our customers in North America, with #1 Zuisho may well be the best matcha available in Canada.

Copper Tea

As there is no regulatory standard in matcha grading, Copper Tea chooses to name their professional use matcha emphasizing its characteristic use case.

As you will get from the vivid green colour and low astringency, the quality of the "Superior" and "Cafe Standard" matcha exceed most so-called "ceremonial" products on the market.

"Culianry" and "Value" matcha are comparable in taste and colour to, if not exceeding, many “ceremonial” products on the market, these matcha provides great value to users who enjoy catechin and its antioxidative power.
