Since Scanpan’s inception in 1956, their hand cast aluminium products with patented nonstick coating have formed the core of their business. Today, they still cast all of their nonstick aluminium products at their own factory in Denmark.

This means that all of their die-cast aluminium products are made from environmentally friendly reutilized aluminium at their own factory, where they control all stages of the manufacturing process.
Liquid aluminium is poured by hand into a mould and die-cast under 250 tonnes of pressure. This unique casting technique ensures maximum durability and perfect heat distribution across the entire surface. Quality is controlled in every detail throughout the production process.
A significant part of their product and technology development is the on-going development of their nonstick coating. And Scanpan is proud to say that it is one of the market’s most resilient nonstick coatings.
