I like the product , also I like Gusta products . They are very unique and in this site we always find some special cooking utensils.
The service is excellent .
Comes with a plastic case to store it in. Feels high quality. Accurate measurements and easy to use.
Most consumer kitchen scales are rated for 11lb capacity but are limited to 1g increments, with most (all?) being horribly inaccurate at lower weights (<10g). Even the better quality kitchen scales typically suffer from this either/or conundrum -- accuracy or capacity, but not both.
This Tanita scale is the best of both worlds! It is super accurate at lower weights (0.1g increments), while still having enough total capacity for most other uses in the home kitchen (6.6lbs). This scale also satisfies my two absolute requirements: no auto-off (10 min), and it uses regular AA batteries. The display is large and easy to read with the raised platform, and it has an intuitive interface with a small footprint. I have not found a better implementation of a kitchen scale for home use, at any price point. 6/5 stars.
I broke my old scale so I had to buy a new one. This one is a little bigger and heavier than my old one. It's good for baking needs. Only question I have is: what is 微量 meant for?
Hi CG! Thank you for the question!
微量 is the Japanese for 'small increment'. The button, which also is the tare button, will show 0g weight when pressed once. At this point, the increment of the scale is per 1g. Now if you press the button again, it will show a smaller increment (0.1g or 0.5g depending on the weight already on top, such as from your container). This allows you to measure at per 0.1g increment up to 300g or per 0.5g increment up to 1.5kg. Once total weight goes beyond the 300g or 1.5g, the scale auto adjust to the next larger increment. You can use it for much more precise measurement than most scales. I hope this helps!
