Contour and blade cannot merely summarize the many designs this tool can be used to make.  One edge of it is sharp, while the other side has a serrated contour.  In addition to the koi fish designs this serrated edge classically portraits, these edges can be used to make impressive contours on wagashi materials such as nerikiri or konashi.

Material: walnut wood

Since natural wood is the material used, there may be scratches, dents, or discolouration depending on the position of the wood knots.  Using of detergent with hard water also may deteriorate the material faster.  We do not accept exchanges or returns on this product.
