Fresh Salted Kampot Pepper – Organic Whole Peppercorns by La Plantation

La Plantation

$21.75

Fresh Salted Kampot Pepper by La Plantation is a rare culinary innovation that brings the vibrant flavour of fresh green peppercorns—preserved at peak freshness—right to your kitchen. Hand-harvested in Kampot, Cambodia before maturity, the young peppercorns are delicately deseeded, blanched, and fermented in natural Kampot sea salt using a proprietary process developed in 2016. The result is a bright, briny, and crunchy peppercorn with complex aromas and a subtle heat.

Kampot IGP-Certified Quality
Kampot Pepper is internationally recognized with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status. This ensures it is grown and processed using traditional methods that protect both quality and origin.

How to Use
Ready to eat—no grinding needed. Use whole as a surprising garnish or stirred gently into sauces near the end of cooking. Avoid prolonged heat to preserve its crunch.

Suggested Pairings

  • Aperitif: enjoy with roasted peanuts

  • Cheese & Tomato: pair with burrata or mozzarella

  • Seafood: add to steamed fish or tomato-based broths

  • Meats: spoon into creamy sauces for steak or duck

  • Sweet: mix into chocolate mousse or top on ice cream

Storage & Tips
Do not add extra salt—this pepper brings its own. Once opened, store in a sealed jar in the fridge to maintain flavour and texture.
