The Emile Henry Slim Rectangular Tart Dish gives a new dimension to your tart recipes. With its high sides, you can not only make long, thin tarts, but also succulent quiches and clafoutis.
Made from HR® ceramic (High Resistance), it diffuses the heat and cooks right to the centre, without burning the edges. With or without a pastry base, your recipes can be cut and served directly from the dish without any risk of scratching the surface.
A rectangular tart dish is original, easy to serve and practical to wrap for picnics or packed lunches. This baking dish is crafted in France.
Resistance Against Mechanical Shocks: During everyday use, there are many opportunities to bang a dish or a set of plates. Particularly resistant to shocks, Emile Henry's ceramic is even used in restaurants!
Resistance Against Temperature Changes: A dish or stewpot should be able to withstand wide variations in temperature. Emile Henry's ceramics allow their products to be taken directly from the freezer to the hot oven (+250°C/500°F).
Resistance Against Fading Colours: Heat, the dishwasher or sharp instruments will all have an aging effect on a product. Emile Henry's glazes are particularly resistant to the dishwasher and the most aggressive of detergents.
