Pearl Sugar—also known as nib sugar or hail sugar—is a specialty ingredient essential to Belgian Liege waffles and a variety of baked goods. With its bright white colour, uniform size, and delightful crunch, this sugar not only adds visual appeal but also introduces sweet bursts of texture to pastries and confections.

Couplet Sugars’ premium pearl sugar is made from extra white EU1-grade sugar, renowned for its purity and heat resistance. The pearls remain whole and white even after baking, making them perfect for applications that require decorative crunch and visual integrity.
