The Wüsthof 7295 cutting board is a luxury cutting board. It is easily picked up by the recessed handles in the sides of the board. The board is relatively light, because it is only 3cm high. Little rubber feet on the bottom make sure the board doesn’t slide around while cutting.
Because the beech wood is heat treated, it is insensitive to stretching and shrinking. The wood is ‘baked’ on a temperature between 180 and 220 degrees Celsius. The heat treatment causes the dark colour and chic look. Another result of the treatment, is that the board is fully impregnated and therefore insensitive to water as well.
Features:
- Water-repellent
- Natural finish – no artificial coating
- Resistant to water, shrinking and swelling
