Wooden Pappardelle Pasta Cutter – Mattarello Roller for Wide Noodles

Panetta Casalinghi

$18.95

This wooden pappardelle pasta cutter is a traditional Italian mattarello tagliapasta designed to create wide, rustic ribbons from a rolled sheet of dough. Instead of relying on a machine, you roll this ridged cutter across your pasta sheet to form evenly spaced fresh pappardelle — perfect for hearty sauces like ragù, braised meats, or mushrooms.

Made from solid beech wood and crafted in Italy, it offers the tactile control pasta makers love: quick to use, easy to store, and consistently sized cuts. Once your dough is rolled thin (by hand or with a pasta machine), a light dusting of flour and a steady pass with the roller helps produce beautiful wide noodles with an artisanal look.
