This Gelita gelatin powder (175 bloom) is closed to silver strength leaf gelatin (180 bloom). It is only manufactured from beef skins.

The benefit of this form of gelatin is that the powder dissolves quickly.  One simply measures out the amount of powder needed and dissolves it into the required cold liquid.

Gelatine is fat and carbohydrate free. As pure protein, it is also allergen free and easy to digest. It’s great for quick and delicious low-calorie dishes and desserts, such as savory aspics, cake fillings, panna cotta or jellies.

This version is made from bovine (beef) sources.

Bloom is a unit used to measure the gel strength of gelatine. The higher the Bloom number, the stiffer the gelatine will be.  For stronger bloom strength, you may consider LOUIS FRANCOIS Gelatin Powder, Gold Grade, or LOUIS FRANCOIS Halal & Kosher Gelatin Powder, Gold Grade.
