Use & Application
Taro powder is best suited to milk tea, bubble tea, lattes, smoothies, ice cream bases, creams, fillings, cake batters, cookies, pancakes, and Asian-style desserts. It adds a mild earthy sweetness, creamy character, and soft purple tone depending on the recipe. Because taro has a naturally subtle flavour, it is most effective in dairy-based or creamy applications where its gentle profile can come through. Use slightly larger quantities when it is intended to be the main flavour rather than a background note.
