Care & Seasoning

  • Season before first use, then preheat gradually and cook with a little fat to build a strong patina.
  • Avoid acidic foods such as tomatoes, citrus, vinegar, and wine until the seasoning is well established.
  • After cooking, deglaze if needed, rinse with hot water, dry thoroughly, then wipe with a light coat of oil before storing.
  • Avoid detergents when possible and never use the dishwasher.
