Award-winning Japanese black sesame paste with a rich roasted flavour
Namisato Black Sesame Paste is made from 100% roasted black sesame seeds, with no added sugar, colouring or other additives. Also known in Japan as black nerigoma, it delivers a deep roasted aroma, concentrated sesame flavour and naturally subtle sweetness.
Made using Namisato’s patented micro-grinding process, the paste has an exceptionally smooth, fluid texture that blends easily into pastry, frozen desserts, chocolate, sauces and beverages. Namisato’s Micro Paste also received the Honorary President’s Award in the technical category at Japan’s 25th National Confectionery Exposition.
Its bold flavour and distinctive dark colour make it especially well suited to black sesame gelato, mousse, pastry cream, ganache, cakes, cookies, bread and lattes. It can also be used in sesame sauces, dressings, marinades, noodle dishes and savoury preparations.
