About Chef Hwang Yongtaek

Hwang Yongtaek is the executive Chef of Gangjeonghouse. In line with the slogan ‘Young Tradition,’ he introduces traditional desserts with a young and modern sense. In recognition of his passion and skills for traditional desserts, he participated in the Korean dessert pop-up event ‘SWEET SEOUL’ hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 2018-2019, introducing the taste and beauty of Korea to the world, in Tokyo, Paris, and New York. He has introduced traditional Korean desserts interpreted in a modern way through various media at home and abroad. Through continuous research and development on traditional desserts, Gangejonghouse continues to write the young traditional story of its own.
