This solid knife block is made from thermally treated Beech Wood. The wood is baked at 200°C which strengthens the material making it resistant to fungi and will no longer absorb water. In addition, it will give the wood its stunning dark colour while maintaining its beautiful natural grain pattern. This magnetic knife block has six magnetic surfaces where each side can accommodate up to two knives or one large cleaver. The base includes a felt layer to ensure it will not slide or scratch the surface of your kitchen counter.
