Description

Japanese white peach, or hakutō, is known for its pale flesh, abundant juice and exceptionally smooth mouthfeel. Compared with many yellow peaches, its character is gentler and more refined, combining mellow sweetness, delicate fragrance and subtle astringency.

Why TAKA White Peach Purée?

This Sakura Series purée is made with Japanese-grown white peaches rather than fruit blended from unspecified international origins. TAKA thaws the frozen fruit at a low temperature before processing it with rapid heating and cooling to retain its fresh character. The finished Brix is deliberately kept relatively low, allowing the peach’s mild, elegant flavour to remain the focus.

Flavour and Applications

The purée has a juicy, smooth texture and a soft white-peach profile with rounded sweetness, gentle floral fragrance and a lightly astringent finish.

Use it in mousses, panna cotta, crémeux, cheesecakes, tart fillings and plated desserts, or prepare sorbets, gelato and frozen parfaits. Its delicate character also suits bellinis, cocktails, mocktails, sparkling teas and light sauces or vinaigrettes. White peach pairs beautifully with raspberry, strawberry, lychee, jasmine, vanilla, almond, yogurt, honey and shiso.

Frozen Product Shipping & Handling Notice

We take special care when shipping frozen purées and limit available delivery methods to help them arrive in good condition. Depending on your location, only local delivery and express shipping options will be available at checkout. If your order qualifies for free shipping, our complimentary shipping service is standard shipping; express service may be available for an additional surcharge.

While we make every effort to keep the purée cold throughout transit, we cannot guarantee that it will remain completely frozen upon arrival, particularly during warmer weather.

If the purée arrives partially thawed but still cold, simply place it back in the freezer as soon as possible. If it arrives completely thawed, it is still safe to use provided the inner seal remains intact. Any unused portion may be refrozen for longer-term storage.

Purées with a higher fibre content may naturally separate after thawing. Simply stir well before use. For convenience, we also recommend portioning the purée into your own containers before refreezing so you can thaw only what you need.

We hope you enjoy the freshness, vibrant colours, and exceptional flavours these purées bring to your recipes.
