SOL FRESH Freeze-Dried Peach Powder is made from 100% peach and milled into a fine, free-flowing powder. It has a light yellow to orange-yellow colour with the soft, fruity aroma and naturally sweet flavour characteristic of peach. Its rounded stone fruit profile makes it well suited to recipes where a gentle fruit note, warm colour, and delicate sweetness are desired.
Use & Application
Peach powder is best used in delicate applications where peach purée would loosen the texture or shorten shelf life. It can be blended into buttercream, mousse, whipped cream, panna cotta, yoghurt, ice cream bases, glazes, macarons, cookies, cake fillings, beverage powders, iced teas, and fruit-flavoured dessert components. Because peach has a softer flavour than sharper fruits, it works especially well in creams and dairy-based recipes, or as a supporting fruit note with vanilla, almond, berries, or white chocolate.
Each 10g of freeze-dried peach powder is equivalent to approximately 100g of fresh peach.
Why Freeze-Dried?
Peach has a delicate aroma and soft fruit flavour that can easily become muted when exposed to high heat. Freeze-drying helps protect these more subtle stone fruit notes while reducing the fruit into a stable powder that is easy to blend into dry or wet preparations. The process helps retain the peach’s natural colour, aroma, flavour, and nutritional value, while keeping the ingredient pure and free from additives, preservatives, carriers, maltodextrin, or added sugar.
