Designed for use with the matching interchangeable sieve frame, these removable stainless steel inserts allow one frame to be adapted for a range of sifting, straining and refining applications. Choose from coarse through ultra-fine mesh grades according to the ingredient and the texture required.
Lower mesh numbers provide a more open screen for coarser ingredients, while higher mesh numbers create a finer result for powders, purées, pastes and smooth pastry preparations. The flat screen provides an even working surface for passing cooked ingredients or sifting dry ingredients.
Made in Japan from durable 18-8 stainless steel, each insert is designed to fit securely inside the compatible springform sieve frame and can be changed as needed without purchasing a separate complete sieve for every application.
