Care

Heat and cool gradually to protect ceramic. Avoid placing a hot stone on a cold or wet surface. Let it cool before washing. For label residue, warm gently and peel slowly, then wipe with warm soapy water. Use non-abrasive tools to protect the surface.

Emile Henry Smooth Pizza Stone

Our family loves crispy crust pizza and I am happy that I can make crispy pizza home now with the Emile Henry Pizza Stone. I have purchased two burgundy pizza stones and they look stunning. The colour is so beautiful and I am glad that I bought two so I can make two large pizzas all at once. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the product.
However, there is one thing that I would like to comment. On the center of the pizza stone, there is a big round label glued to it. Having a label on a product is very common practice and from my experience, I am always able to peel off the label cleanly using a hair blower without leaving any glue mark. However, this time the round label covers a very big surface and is glued very tight. Took me over five minutes to peel it off using the blower but still left some glue on the surface. I had to wash off the glue very carefully as I was afraid to scratch the surface. This was a very annoying experience.
