Les Vergers Boiron Frozen Morello Cherry Purée is made with 100% Oblacinska Morello cherries. Deep red and intensely aromatic, it offers pronounced tartness, light astringency and subtle almond notes that give this sour cherry purée its distinctive complexity.

Flavour and Applications

Its bold cherry flavour is ideal for Black Forest cakes, entremets, mousses, crémeux, ganaches, compotes, jams, pâte de fruit, ice creams, sorbets and plated-dessert sauces. It can also be used in cocktails, mocktails and savoury sauces.

Morello cherry pairs especially well with dark chocolate, almond, pistachio, vanilla, coffee, citrus, kirsch and warm spices.

Thaw the purée in its closed packaging in the refrigerator at 2–4°C. Once fully thawed, mix thoroughly to restore an even consistency before use.

Depending on your location, only local delivery and express shipping options will be available at checkout. If your order qualifies for free shipping, our complimentary shipping service is standard shipping; express service may be available for an additional surcharge.

While we make every effort to keep the purée cold throughout transit, we cannot guarantee that it will remain completely frozen upon arrival, particularly during warmer weather.

If the purée arrives partially thawed but still cold, simply place it back in the freezer as soon as possible. If it arrives completely thawed, it is still safe to use provided the inner seal remains intact. Any unused portion may be refrozen for longer-term storage.

Purées with a higher fibre content may naturally separate after thawing. Simply stir well before use. For convenience, we also recommend portioning the purée into your own containers before refreezing so you can thaw only what you need.

Amazing product

Having this sour cherry purée is so essential in Canada when we harvest the fruit for one month only. There is no frozen version of it as well. Only in European groceries.
