Les Vergers Boiron Frozen Açaí Purée is made with wild açaí berries sourced from a single cooperative along the Amazon Delta in Brazil. Hand-harvested from Euterpe oleracea palms growing in preserved agroforestry environments, it offers an authentic expression of this distinctive Amazonian fruit.

Flavour and Applications

Deep purple with a fluid, slightly granular texture, this no-added-sugar açaí purée has a complex flavour combining red fruit, subtle black olive and lightly saline notes. Its balanced acidity, bitterness and astringency make it suitable for açaí bowls, smoothies, mousses, crémeux, sorbets, ice creams, fillings, plated desserts, sauces and beverages.

Açaí pairs especially well with coconut, blueberry, cherry, banana, mango and chocolate.

Thaw the purée in its closed packaging in the refrigerator at 2–4°C. Once fully thawed, mix thoroughly to restore an even consistency before use.

Natural separation may occur. The fruit’s fatty acids can form an oily layer on the surface that disappears after thorough mixing.

If your order qualifies for free shipping, our complimentary shipping service is standard shipping; express service may be available for an additional surcharge.

While we make every effort to keep the purée cold throughout transit, we cannot guarantee that it will remain completely frozen upon arrival, particularly during warmer weather.

If the purée arrives partially thawed but still cold, simply place it back in the freezer as soon as possible. If it arrives completely thawed, it is still safe to use provided the inner seal remains intact. Any unused portion may be refrozen for longer-term storage.

Purées with a higher fibre content may naturally separate after thawing. Simply stir well before use. For convenience, we also recommend portioning the purée into your own containers before refreezing so you can thaw only what you need.
