Experience the exceptional quality of St. Brigid’s Creamery Unsalted Butter, crafted from 100% organic, grass-fed, single-herd A2 Jersey cream. This butter boasts a rich, creamy texture and a vibrant golden hue, resulting from the high beta-carotene content in the cows' diverse, pasture-based diet .

Churned using traditional barrel methods to achieve a European-style 84% butterfat, this butter delivers a deep flavour and smooth spreadability that elevates both sweet and savoury dishes. The A2 beta-casein protein present in the milk is known to be easier to digest for some individuals compared to the more common A1 protein .

Produced on the van Nes family farm in Huron County, Ontario, the cows graze on holistically and regeneratively managed pastures, reflecting a commitment to environmental stewardship and animal welfare.

While we make every effort to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition, we cannot guarantee that frozen products will remain completely frozen during shipping — particularly during warmer months or for destinations outside express delivery areas.

If this item arrives partially thawed but still cold to the touch, they are safe to use. Simply place them back in the freezer as soon as possible.

To maintain best quality:

Avoid refreezing items that are fully melted or have lost structure (e.g., puff pastry sheets that have fused together)
Consider portioning and storing items in smaller quantities before refreezing to minimize waste
Thaw laminated doughs or butter gradually in the refrigerator for optimal texture and performance

Please note: We do not offer refunds or replacements for frozen products that arrive thawed. By purchasing, you acknowledge the risk associated with shipping perishable items.

We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the exceptional quality these ingredients bring to your baking.

Situated on the outskirts of Brussels, Ontario, Canada. St. Brigid’s Creamery is a family-run dairy farm committed to restoring the balance between agriculture, the environment, and the communities they sustain. That’s why they use regenerative farming methods to create their signature grass-fed, single-herd A2 Jersey products—which can be easier to digest than A1 (beta casein) commonly found in Canadian dairy.

Its nearly 1,500 acres of holistically-managed land nourish over 400 grazing Jerseys with the finest grasses, forbs, and shrubs. This exceptional diet, in turn, creates a superior cream that’s high in beta carotene and rich in omega 3. At St. Brigid’s, every aspect of their process is carefully considered, because they believe that better farming practices make more delicious food.
