Les Vergers Boiron Frozen Rhubarb Purée is made with 100% rhubarb grown in France and Poland. Naturally sharp and refreshing, it delivers rhubarb’s distinctive tart flavour and subtle vegetal character in a convenient purée with reliable year-round consistency.

Flavour and Applications

Its bright acidity is ideal for balancing sweet recipes such as tarts, crumbles, compotes, jams, curds, mousses, entremets, pastry fillings, fruit gels, ice creams and sorbets. It can also bring a refreshing tartness to sauces, cocktails and alcohol-free beverages.

Rhubarb pairs especially well with strawberry, raspberry, apple, orange, ginger, vanilla, elderflower, almond, honey and white chocolate.

Thaw the purée in its closed packaging in the refrigerator at 2–4°C. Once fully thawed, mix thoroughly to restore an even consistency before use.

While we make every effort to keep the purée cold throughout transit, we cannot guarantee that it will remain completely frozen upon arrival, particularly during warmer weather.

If the purée arrives partially thawed but still cold, simply place it back in the freezer as soon as possible. If it arrives completely thawed, it is still safe to use provided the inner seal remains intact. Any unused portion may be refrozen for longer-term storage.

Purées with a higher fibre content may naturally separate after thawing. Simply stir well before use. For convenience, we also recommend portioning the purée into your own containers before refreezing so you can thaw only what you need.
