Les Vergers Boiron Frozen Orange & Bitter Orange Purée combines the juicy sweetness of ripe orange with the aromatic intensity and gentle bitterness of bitter orange. Made with whole orange, juice and concentrated juice, this balanced blend delivers a complex citrus flavour with bright acidity and a pleasantly zesty finish.

Flavour and Applications

More layered than a standard orange purée, its balance of sweetness, acidity and bitterness adds depth to entremets, mousses, crémeux, ganaches, curds, inserts, glazes, ice creams, sorbets and plated-dessert sauces. It is also ideal for cocktails, mocktails and other citrus-based drinks.

Orange and bitter orange pair especially well with dark chocolate, vanilla, almond, hazelnut, pistachio, caramel, coffee, warm spices and berries.

Thaw the purée in its closed packaging in the refrigerator at 2–4°C for approximately 24 hours. Once fully thawed, mix thoroughly to restore an even consistency before use.

If your order qualifies for free shipping, our complimentary shipping service is standard shipping; express service may be available for an additional surcharge.

While we make every effort to keep the purée cold throughout transit, we cannot guarantee that it will remain completely frozen upon arrival, particularly during warmer weather.

If the purée arrives partially thawed but still cold, simply place it back in the freezer as soon as possible. If it arrives completely thawed, it is still safe to use provided the inner seal remains intact. Any unused portion may be refrozen for longer-term storage.

Purées with a higher fibre content may naturally separate after thawing. Simply stir well before use. For convenience, we also recommend portioning the purée into your own containers before refreezing so you can thaw only what you need.
