From Uji, Kyoto, our culinary grade matcha comes in 1kg light-proof bags so they stay vibrant and flavourful for longer. They are excellent for blended drinks or baking.
There is no international standard in matcha grading, so we choose to differentiate these professional use, or "industry use", blends from the smooth, quality matcha reserved for tea ceremony. Yet, as you will get from the vivid green colour and low astringency, these blends are comparable if not exceeding most so-called "ceremonial" products on the market.

This product is formerly named "culinary grade", but due to its taste and colour qualities exceeding many "ceremonial grade" matcha on the market, we have now adopted the literal translation from its original Japanese 業務用 as "professional use" in the product name.
